How To Manage Success When You Earn More Than Your Man

I see a ton of content online on how to CREATE success.
But how about MANAGING success once we've created it?

What happens after we've successfully taken our businesses off the ground and hit our targets?

If you are finding yourself in a situation where you are earning more than your man, this can add another layer of complexity to your life.

Not that he'll necessarily say it out loud but you can feel that the balance of power is shifting.

Has this ever happened to you before?

You come home with great news. You've made a big sale or you've been offered a promotion.
Your man congratulates you. It's all good.

And then...a few hours later or a few days later, you have an almighty argument with him (in front of the kids of course).

Does that ring a bell?

That's called a manifestation of the Upper Limit (see the Big Leap by Gay Hendrix).

This means that you've come with such great news that none of you can bear it and so one of you unconsciously initiates an argument.

To bring both of you down.

So here is my recommendation for you:
1 - Recognise the Upper-Limit type of fights. Self-awareness is half the battle.
2 - Remind yourself of how hard you've worked to create that success and know that you deserve all of it and so much more.
3 - If your man is envious or resentful of your success, know that this has nothing to do with you. It's up to him to uplevel his own game.
4 - Express how grateful you are to have him in your life and say thank you for all the support he has given you so far. More often than not, men just want to be made to feel like Kings so they can treat you like a Queen in return.
5 - Keep going...rise Sister rise...
